Just recently, we announced the selected photographers for Open Call #7: Duality, and while the book design is now in progress, we're already excited to share our newest opportunity: Open Call #8: Ephemerality!

We officially opened submissions for this profound concept—ephemerality, the fleeting moments and enduring power of impermanence—on June 15th. Since day one, we've been thrilled to receive a fantastic number of compelling entries!

This is a unique chance for photographers worldwide to explore this theme through compelling photo essays (15-25 images) and connect with a global community, offering a blend of online and offline exposure.

Why submit?

• Printed Exposure: Be featured in Ephemere's first-ever printed Journal, which will launch during our special two-week event in Tokyo this October 1-12, 2025.

• Immersive Showcase: Exhibit your work physically in a group exhibition in Tokyo, also held during our special two-week event.
